Classic Rock 1/12

Rock >> Classic Rock

Classic Rock stands for a popular variety of rock music in the late 1960s. In contrast to the soul-related R&B style, it was dominated by bands from England such as Jethro Tull, The Rolling Stones, The Animals, The Kinks, The Yardbirds and The Who. This style began with the Beatles, who gradually moved away from the simple song structures and harmonies of their early years, and together with other bands of their time, allowed rock to "grow up".
Rock music is based on the instruments and sounds that were already available in the 60s, with electromechanical instruments such as electric guitars, but largely without purely electronic instruments. The sound should also be playable live, without studio tricks.

8. Free Spirit 02:16

An uplifting and positively driving guitar rock track with a really infectious guitar riff. Similar in mood and style to the intro music on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart or the Colbert Report with Stephen Colbert. Also great for extreme sports, action footage, racing, downhill, stupid stunts and much more. It's just a great, fresh, bright, joyful rock track.
