The Sami, also known as Lapps, are the indegenous people of Northern Scandinavia. Hailing from northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia (the Kola Peninsula), their lives and appearance have a lot in common with Native Americans. Their music is dominated by the unique and easily recognizable Joik (or Yoik) which again lends similarities to the chanting vocal styles of Native American music. It is often accompanied by a simple hand drum beat.

A soundtrack that builds from deep anticipation into filtered drums, scattered instrumentation and an uneasy, thrilling sensation of discovery. Top & tailed with twisted, eerie strings giving a climactic feeling of  fear & forbodding. similar in style to US & Scandanavian TV crime drama scores or science & technology documentaries.

Ice Worlds

A very crisp and chilled drum'n bass tracks featuring uptempo, dry electronic drums, sub-bass and various textural and dreamy pads, with ambient, echoey tones. Very 'cold' sound, could be science & technology, cutting-edge concepts, future & sci-fi, forensics and micro studies, etc. Nordic, Scandinavian Underground, minimalistic Drum & Bass production style.

Tuscan Life

Airy and floaty clarinet against a sprightly string accompaniment gives a slightly European continental feel to this light track. Accordion chords also contribute. Great for travel sequences or general incidental music requiring a soft touch.

A dark gloomy dramatic track with a sense of tension anxiety. This evolving sound escape creates an anticipating and disturbing vibe. Features disturbing scary sci-fi sound design. Imagine hiding in a closet of a haunted house or a murderous burglar slowly scanning the house while a child hides under the bed.
