The Epic Series is a series of 26 individual music tracks. Semi-orchestral, semi-electronic soundtrack work inspired by Babylon 5, etc. Brooding, pompous, epic, military style. Some of these are grouped together -- i.e. Epic 1 calm, Epic 1 Suspense and Epic 1 Battle use the same instrumentation and underlying tempo, making them work well together. Of course, they work well individually too.
Imagine being a goldfish in a bowl and staring out at the big wide world. Acoustic guitar harmonics start this hypnotic track, a simple marimba melody enters, then different drums join in and strings enter in a ghostly fashion. The tune builds and entrances you as it marches on. Contains acoustic guitar, chromatic wooden percussion, strings and bass drum pulses.
There is something strangely reassuring and comforting about the completely random way in which rain drops fall on water, or wind chimes play in the wind. This aural painting aims to capture that unpredictable, random nature. The lack of any system or recognizeable pattern instills calmness and clears the mind.
