A beautiful, traditional Indian love song arranged with a mixture of Indian ethnic instruments and more modern/western elements. Sung by the highly renowned Indian thumri singer Vidya Rao who has been kind enough to work with us on this track. Thumri is a form of Indian singing which originated in the temples where the courtesans of the temples used to sing about lost love. The lyrics in this song can be summarized as a woman singing to a dear friend or lover in a far-away land, singing for him to return to where he belongs. Arranged with tabla, Indian strings and soft pads. There is also an alternative version without the vocals, and yet another version with only the vocals and soft pads, in a more "ambient" setting. Haunting and beautiful.
Jamaican Roots is a lively and full reggae rack with all the bounce and vibe you would expect! With smooth big live bass, tons of rhythmic guitars, deep Hammond organs and the obligatory timbales! Bounces along into a Wah guitar solo towards the end! Relaxed and chilled vibe through-out!
Groovy, world folk melodic piece. Played by acoustic guitars, bass, drums, shaker. I had a picture in mind while composing - Russian villages, long road, lonely horse carrying a cart through a snowy woods.
A sorrowful and bittersweet ballad available with Hebrew vocals, or as an instrumental. A summary of the lyrics; a queen is singing her lament and sorrow, what good are all my riches, when I am so sad? The track has a Middle Eastern or Hebrew, Israeli feel and background. Lament, loss, sorrow, regret. The Instrumental version is good for background for travel, drama, ethnic mood etc.
A happy, childish goofy track featuring a weird pallate of instruments. Perfect for children / cartoon / animation.
A happy, childish goofy track featuring a weird percussive loop acoustic guitar dog barks bass marimba. Perfect for children and their pets.
A sad sentimental piano piece, feels like goodbye with hope, memories, childhood. Like looking at the calm sea.
Quirky light and happy vibe built using odd instruments for a very childish foolish adventure track. Imagine a bunch of kids exploring the world. Features custom percussion, violin, bells, xylophone, balloon bass.
A relaxing, ecclectic rhythm groove, warm and laidback guitar melodies with a slight jazzy feel. Also features Indian sitar and tabla percussion for a nice and breezy, ethnic/world feel.
This smooth and soft world-fusion track uses the traditional Indian instrument Sarangi, which is a bit like a violin (although it predates the violin in existence). The traditional role of this instrument is to play in unison with the vocalist, but here the Saranghi has come into its own right, mixed with a downtempo electronica beat, tabla, tamborines and soft pads. A silky smooth, exotic and beautiful world ethnic track, highly suitable for travel, journeys, holidays and vacations in exotic and far-away places. Slightly wistful or sorrowful, but also comforting and hopeful.
Short and playful, with soft flute tones and Marimbas
A light and pretty piece of acoustic guitar, flute and orchestra with humming choir. Pastoral / Sweet / Pleasant.
A blend of the East and the West, this smooth and exotic World fusion track features Indian flutes, clean jazz guitar, an oriental style drone and, after a long-ish intro part, a downtempo chillout drum groove with Indian tabla joins in. Gentle, atmospheric, warm and appealing - this is a great track for relaxing holiday or travel footage, adventure and journeys to far-away lands, as well as for spa, treatment, relaxation, heavenly pampering, etc. Two alternative mixes are also included: One without the guitar and one with only the soft pads and the flutes.
Quirky light and happy vibe built using odd instruments for a very childish foolish island adventure track. Imagine a bunch of kids exploring the beach for crabs and sea shells. Features a pedal steel guitar, custom percussion steel drum, accordion, xylophone, bass and guitars.
