Filmic, peaceful harp lead track. Harp arpeggios combine with soothing melacholy orchestral strings. Has a slight oriental flavour to it.
Silent night, holy night - the Christmas classics in the acoustic version with a fingerpicked 12 string guitar. Wonderful, intimate, homely, warm underlay for greeting cards, congratulations and winter landscapes. You can hear the warm fireplace cracking already ...
Think Massive Attack meets Jean Michel Jarre and you're in the right area. Pulsing bass synth starts this track and then the chorus brings simple piano melodies and distant choirs. Gradually the track builds in rhythmic intensity until the mid breakdown where effected drum sounds take the machines heartbeat down to zero. The last section brings a haunting ebow-ed guitar melody. Contains synth, bass, drums and guitar.
Relaxed mix of electro, lounge, and soft rock. Sit back and enjoy.
The Sami, also known as Lapps, are the indegenous people of Northern Scandinavia. Hailing from northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia (the Kola Peninsula), their lives and appearance have a lot in common with Native Americans. Their music is dominated by the unique and easily recognizable Joik (or Yoik) which again lends similarities to the chanting vocal styles of Native American music. It is often accompanied by a simple hand drum beat.
Orchestral piece that has a very tragic air to it. Waves of meloncholy violas and violins that tug on the heartstrings. A beat builds slowly and a simple piano line enters before the chorus swells. Oh stop blubbing and buy it...it's beautiful.
