Dark and atmospheric, this work has moody drones/pads, ambient electronic textures, shamanic didgeridoo calls, and a primal, driving drum beat. Perfect for many nature docs, dramatic, tension-mounting, mysterious or tribal scenes.
The moment before, here tension is created in a different way, without pathos but very impressive, nevertheless sophisticated clear, hitting the point, useful for everything that deserves a good announcement. Soft arrpegiating analog synths with a steady pulse. Followed by atmospheric string layers with a hypnotic intention. It sounds all very visual and mysterious.
One of Chopin's twenty four preludes which starts very quietly. A note repeats like the pitter-patter of raindrops. A more intense section rises like a heavy storm shower before fading away to leave us with the soft sound of the light raindrops again.
this is strident and morose with its block chords in a minor key.
