2533. fan the flames 04:54

Very tribal and intense. A rhythmic track that builds and builds. At first it walks toward with evil intent then it grabs you by the jugular and starts to mercilessly squeeze. Like N.I.N. jamming with Foo Fighters. Contains guitars, lots of drums and bass.

fan the flames

An exotic, haunting Indian vocal track sung for us by highly renowned Indian female singer Vidya Rao, whom we feel privileged to have worked with on this track. Her sorrowful singing/chanting in the alaap is as atmospheric as it is emotional, and is accompanied by a clean jazz guitar, joined by jazzy drums and bass at around 1 min 45 secs. Alaap literally means introduction and it is traditionally used by an Indian singer who goes through many permutations in the notes of a raag finally resting on the tonic and then nods at the tabla player to set the rhythm. A smooth blend of the traditional and the modern, of the East and the West. Great for use in travel and adventure, chill-out and exotic moods.

2536. Bidesi Saiyan 03:24

A beautiful, traditional Indian love song arranged with a mixture of Indian ethnic instruments and more modern/western elements. Sung by the highly renowned Indian thumri singer Vidya Rao who has been kind enough to work with us on this track. Thumri is a form of Indian singing which originated in the temples where the courtesans of the temples used to sing about lost love. The lyrics in this song can be summarized as a woman singing to a dear friend or lover in a far-away land, singing for him to return to where he belongs. Arranged with tabla, Indian strings and soft pads. There is also an alternative version without the vocals, and yet another version with only the vocals and soft pads, in a more "ambient" setting. Haunting and beautiful.

2538. Tempest Drive 03:44

Pumping, sizzling and grooving electronica with elements of House, techno and trance. Tempo 130 BPM and high energy level throughout with varied bright synth arpeggios as the track oozes, pumps, sweeps, weaves and ducks its way through various parts of solid and confident electro grooves.

Tempest Drive

A very warm and appealing track. Hard to pin down, with elements of ambient, pop, new-age and urban. Repeating patterns of guitar and electric piano create a dreamlike, textured sonic image. Great for use with visual media, carries a lot of emotion and reflection. A sort of kaleidoscope of sound and music. Thoughtful, unique and interesting. This track is available in many different versions, with or without the high guitar notes, and with or without the drums.

Stirring Spirits (No Drums)
2549. Oblivion 06:05

A sad and emotional, epic drama soundtrack piece. Softly swaying string sections backed by a full philharmonic orchestra get the goosebumps out. Melodies full of emotion, between dark and light. A sorrowful, single soprano voice occasionally sings out, giving the track an angelic, heavenly, otherworldly feel. Great for fantasy, sci-fi, drama, grand adventures, epic love stories. This track is recorded with a live philharmonic orchestra and choir.
