The Epic Series is a series of 26 individual music tracks. Semi-orchestral, semi-electronic soundtrack work inspired by Babylon 5, etc. Brooding, pompous, epic, military style. Some of these are grouped together -- i.e. Epic 1 calm, Epic 1 Suspense and Epic 1 Battle use the same instrumentation and underlying tempo, making them work well together. Of course, they work well individually too.

Epic Series - Epic-4-suspense-or-battle

A middle eastern, Arabian sounding, epic, highly dramatic piece, featuring eastern chant vocals, large drums and percussion section, strings, choir and other ethnic instruments. After a foreboding, tense opening section, the main percussion and chant part comes in at about 52 seconds into the track.

Gateway of the Gods
60. Espionage 03:12

Cool, slick and slightly retro styled, the sound is inspired by classic TV detective series and spy films, setting the scene for danger, crime, mystery, police, international agents and beautiful ladies. The horns secure the complete image. And it' funky, too!

Espionage

This is a long track featuring Tablas played in the unique middle eastern "finger" style, along with Sitars, Thai or Indian Reed flute and a suitably arab sounding 'drone' sound. The track goes through several different stages of various intensities and themes.

Kingdom of the Persian
64. African Fields 08:30

african soundtrack piece which goes through many different stages throughout it's duration -- from the floating to the rhythmic, from light to dark, from sparse to dense, from the tribal and percussive to the ethereal with drones. There are many different cues in this piece, all contributing to a highly useable African soundscape.

African Fields

The Sami, also known as Lapps, are the indegenous people of Northern Scandinavia. Hailing from northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia (the Kola Peninsula), their lives and appearance have a lot in common with Native Americans. Their music is dominated by the unique and easily recognizable Joik (or Yoik) which again lends similarities to the chanting vocal styles of Native American music. It is often accompanied by a simple hand drum beat.

Sami Joik (Voice Only version)

Fat and funky Deep-house. Plenty of synth arpeggios, forward driving bass line and subtle wah wah guitars. Occasional whispers and sweeps bring atmosphere. Strong sense of movement and drive. Great for skydiving, sports, extreme sports, technology, hi-tech science, development, futuristic corporate statement, flight and space travel, and much more. Also available in an Underscore version which is more cut-down and bare.

Shape Shift (complete)

A strong, uplifting and positive electronic track with a good forward drive. A sense of movement, future and technology. The addition of a few acoustic guitar chords in the mix gives the whole production a sparkle and a lift. Free spirited and high flying, suitable for hi-tech, sports, fun and dancing, and more.
