Traditionelle hochzeitsmusik aus der kangra region in himachal pradesh in indien. Die verwendeten Instrumente sind die Pipdi - ein Rohrblasinstrument, das dem Shenai in anderen Regionen Indiens ähnlich ist (gespielt von Mangal Ram aus dem Dorf Bir), und die Nagara-Trommeln - ähnlich den Nagras in den Ebenen (diese sind sehr alt Stücke) bestehen sie aus Metall mit auf der Spielfläche gespannter Haut. Die Haut wird mit Riemen festgezogen, die in den Rand der Haut eingewebt sind und sich am mittleren Boden der Trommeln treffen. Zwei Trommeln werden einander gegenüber gestellt und der Schlagzeuger spielt sie mit einer Cross-Stick-Aktion. Der schlagzeuger hier ist jondu ram (vater von mangal ram). Bitte beachten sie: dies ist eine echte live-aufnahme vor ort, und als solche kann es leichte fehler in der performance und aufnahme geben.
